The protagonist of the story, a paranoid young man who conducts the fateful train where the murders occur..
BACKSTORY
Hansel was born into a Catholic family, and moved to Sweden at a very young age, not remembering much about Germany. He lived with his mother, father and older twin siblings, Armin and Alyce. He hardly had a relationship with his siblings, since he barely saw them because of their age gap. Hansel grew up with much faith, going to Catholic boarding schools throughout his whole childhood, and remains religious in his adult years, though he sometimes believes his Lord has betrayed him. He attended university for a short amount of time, before becoming a train conductor and claiming his residency on the train.
